I really hate using star ratings because I havenâ??t been able to use it long enough to realize its effectiveness on my neuropathy because of the intense heartburn I experienced. After only two days of using the Alpha-Lipoic Acid, my heartburn was the worse I have had in years. I have GERD and already take medication for that; so am not wanting to take anything else to counter the heartburn until I can talk to my doctor. The heartburn attacks were scary, as the second one was way worse than the first. Read More Read Less

After just one week taking 300mg I've had a really comfortable week . My symptoms are subdued to a very tolerable level, I've reduced Gabapentin from 900mg to 600mg.. Very pleased ð??

Alpha-lipoic acid has helped lessen the burning and aching in my feet. However, my hair is falling out like I've never seen and this is not going to work for me. I'd rather get this anti-oxidant via broccoli.

Relieved neuropathy 100%; reduced diabetes numbers to normal; it's a miracle pill; have used for 4 years. Am so thankful.

I have been taking R-Alpha Lipoic Acid 300 mg in the morning and 300 mg at bedtime for my neuropathy. Started this routine about 3 weeks ago and have noticed that my pain is alot less, not completely gone, but tolerable. I will say that these capsules do give me heartburn within minutes of taking, but I just chew a couple of antacid tablets and I'm good to go.

In just two weeks, I feel the temperature of the water in the shower again, I no longer need to keep my foot out over the side of the bed at night. My pain level has dropped from a 3.5 to 4 to less than 1. These pills have given me hope again. in just two weeks. To tell you how great I think this product is I went looking for a site to write this review. This is the drug for people who suffer from neuropathic pain, the drug we have been waiting for. I did not see the brand listed that I have been using, its Best Naturals Alpha Lipoic Acid 600 mgRead More Read Less

I developed burning pain in my feet at night. I have type one diabetes, but am also on a chemo drug for breast cancer. So doctors are unsure of the cause. My endocrinologist suggested trying 600 MGM of alpha lipoid acid daily. I had some relief from pain after two weeks, but it is still somewhat bothersome.

It took over a month to feel results but the pins and needle, burning feeling in my feet began to dissipate. ALP is effective for my neuropathy and I find I must continue to take it for improvement.

Having suffered appalling pain from Burning Mouth syndrome for five years, after one month on 600mg per day the pain is far less incapacitating. It is recommended by the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and I am so grateful. I can now reduce the dose to 200mg daily. The only side effect was an itchy skin rash, which in the scheme of things, barely counts.
