Just increased ALA dosage. Chemo left me with neuropathy in my feet (poor balance) and finger tips. Now after almost two years conditions have improved. Recently stopped taking one 600mg pill for about 3 weeks and neuropathy worsened. At this time, upon restart, I found improved results (better balance and touch typing is back) with a 600mg tablet twice daily.

It was my MD that suggested to take ALPHA-LIPOIC ACID along with my neuropathy medication because it alone was not doing the job. Three days after taking ALA the tingling, burning and pain was gone. Not reduced but gone. I have even not taking it to see if it was just a fluck a day or two and the pain and other problems came back. Started on it again and the tingling and pain came right back. ALA has been a live saver for me.

Many different diagnosis from doctors in regards to pain, numbness, tingling in my feet and legs but no medications helped and was told I would have to learn to live with it. After taking 600mg every day began to see results after 2nd day with steady improvement now entering week 2 and have about 95% improvement. Am now able to sleep.

I have PN with numbness and tingling in lower legs and feet. I started with 600mg daily. Symptoms were GONE in about 10 days!! Nothing else worked even a little. I have used this single treatment for about 8 years.

I was told about the use of Alpha Lipoic Acid to stop the pain in my feet. As I started to use 250mg a day there wasn't much change then they told to take 600mg a day and the pain went away within one week.

I had no alleviations of my symptoms and was taking this supplement for over a month. The only thing I got for my trouble was a terrible rash on both arms and legs. I won't take again!

I have used alpha lipoic acid for a little over a year now for assistance in regulating my blood sugar levels. I recently ran out, and within a couple of days saw my test numbers go up. I highly recommend the use of this product. I take it just before eating.

I am an alcoholic. I stumbled onto alpha lipoip acid accedentaly, trying to ease severe symptoms of a detox after a long bing, with little food. It seemed to help me better matabolize what little food I could nibble. I'm not sure what about it, it was, but in two hours I felt a bit better. I recomend it.

For about 7 years I had terrible stabbing and burning pain in my upper left leg that would occur late at night when I would wake up and move my leg. It was so bad that the entire area went numb for years and I could feel electric type pulses flowing from the area from time to time. In 2009 I started with 600mg and the pain is almost completely gone and the electric pulses have stopped as well. If I start to feel the pain I realize that I forgot to take my ALA.
