Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) - Other Treatment

All treatment for polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is done to control symptoms, such as infertility, irregular menstrual cycles, or unwanted hair growth, or to prevent long-term disease. There is no cure for PCOS, but effective treatments for each symptom are available. For women who are overweight, the most effective therapy is to control weight and eat a healthy diet. A healthy lifestyle is very important for women with PCOS.
