Hello I used to be in the Army but had to retire due to debilitating pain suffered from a back injury. I went from civilian doctors to the ones at the VA hospital. Am I EVER glad I did that, because now I am getting the relief I need. I take 4 15 mg oxycodone 4 times a day, and I cannot believe how much more I can do with my life. I just wanted to say on here that there is a BIG difference bet...

This was the worst idea for a painkiller. Do not take this.

It worked well for me after suffering from the SEVERE headaches that come along with traumatic brain injury; then a friend came to care for me and apparently liked them, as well. So now my doctor thinks I'm a drug seeker and I can't get a refill. BUT! I liked 'em when I had 'em. No side effects that I can recall.

Dear people, please stop taking this narcotic, face the truth, this is pure HEROIN you're taking every day, it's not safe in any way, it completely changes who you are and how you act in every situation of your life, that's not you, that's narcotic acting instead of you. When you realize it, and trust an experienced roxy addict one day sooner or later you will, there may be no way back, this narcotic will never give you back your freedom, you will depend on it for the rest of your life. Please rethink again and again if you need this life poison, if you are ready to give up your soul for that good feeling which you're not going to get more than a few months, after that you will have to take it just to stay alive and functional, all you are going to crave is to get the same feeling that you had before but it's never going to come again. PLEASE again think about your families and people that love you, find a safe alternative for your pain, stop takeing heroin before it's too late.....Read More Read Less

It is my understanding that this is the safest pain medication available. I have severe liver damage and this is the only drug they can prescribe. Works very well the first 6 months then you build a tolerance and the dose has to be raised or you have to take a short time off. Idiots abusing the medication have gave it a bad stigma and can be hard to get. Best there is at this point.

i have tried several drugs and finally was prescibed roxicodone this is the first time i have been able to function in a few years. my pain is still at a level 4-5 but i can have a normal routine and function. now the DEA is trying to get doctors to stop prescibing because some ppl choose to abuse, sell or do other things. I am terrfied that I will have to start all over again to find a new drug that works and go thru all the hell I had to before finding this. To me it's a miracle I love being about to actually do things as normal as gettting out of bed, cooking, laundry and even walking for more than 15 mins and standing without the pain becoming so bad.Read More Read Less

I take it for my knee pain from surgery. I usually only use this drug in the winter time when knee pain is at the worst. I got addicted to it and the withdrawls suck really bad NO FUN AT ALL...take suboxone if you cant stop using this pain med. that got me off this drug in two weeks with no withdrawls at all!

DDD runs in family, started chirapratic care at age 23. That was my perfered method of dealing with chronic pain. By age 40 I enede up with sciatic due to ddd and have neuropathy in buttock leg and foot. Started in pain mangment at 40 on pain meds started on 7.5 ercocet. over last 13 years I have been on meds off and on Currently on 100 mg of er ms contin every 8 hours and 30mg of roxicodone 4-5x day for breakthrough pain. meds in conjunction with low impact exercise and TENS unit keeps me out of extreme pain.....Just use as directed And watch what u say concerning your medical treatment...unfortunatly some friends can not be trusted....watch what you throw in your garbage( ie pamplets from pharmacy, empty bottles..) neighbors cant be trusted.... There is a huge problem with people abusing these meds and you dont know who is hiding a secret addiction.Read More Read Less
