I had suicidal thoughts, was irritable, sad, crying and my anxiety returned. I hadn't felt this way in years. I got tired of it and went back to the brand Lexapro a week ago. I do well on the brand name but the since the generic has come out my insurance has forced me to swith to the generic. The generic is a whole other story. It does not work as well and my mood swings are horrible. I am at thelowest of low one day and feeling ok the next with no change in activity. I also have had horrible headaches with the generic. (I never get headaches).

I feel a little like when you first take mescaline(stop running to the medicine chest) but that feeling subsides. As regards decreased libido, how come no one has said, "What a blessing"! I still have the meds from 7 years ago. I think I'll go take one.
