Dizziness lasted 2 days and went away but the headache grew and grew. It caused a 5 day migraine that became incapacitating. 26 hours off the med and the headache vanished, though minor chest pain reoccured. Back to the drawing board; this drug is so not for me.

I have been on this medicine for a little over a month, for the first week, I had headaches, but not too bad. I have noticed a weight gain since I have been on this medicine and wondered if it could be the cause, my eating habits have not changed and I work out 5 to 6 day a week.

Though I experienced headaches for the first few days, they are now gone. I take the dose in the morning with breakfast. I do get dizzy if I get up too fast and I am not able to sleep more than 5 hrs at night. Other than that, My pain has lessened.

Although I have been taking this medication for only 1 week now it has lessened my problem by about 75%. An early side effect I incurred that wasn't explained to me was drowsiness. The first 2 days of taking this pill I was very drowsy at work. The third day the drowsiness went away. It has made my daytime bearable althouigh the symptoms return in the evening about 10 hours after taking the pill.

I have this week had the daily dose increased from 60mg to 90mg so at this stage I am not able to state categorically that there are any apparent changes in my condition.

Had a very bad headache after I took it during the night, woke up about 2 1/2 hours early for work, took meds for headache, hot towel compress, no relief. Would like to get off of this medication, rather the chest pain.

I have been on Imdur for almost a yr.I did have headaches for about a week after I started taking Imdur, but after that, have been, medication caused headache free. This medication has helped in relieving my chest pains ( angina pectoris)and seems to allow me to be more active and do more, then before I was perscribed Imdur. I have been satisfied with this medication and its effectiveness, without any major side effects.

Before beginning this drug I took nitro sometimes as many as 5-6 times a day for angina and squeezing chest pain. Although the drug did cause headache for the first few days I no longer have any problem with headache. I am largely free of chest pain except upon waking in the morning. I take this drug at about 8:00 am and wonder if it is wearing off during the night.
