Started seroquel 3 weeks ago and am now finding no mood swings, less anxiety and less racing thoughts. Terrific. Taken at night I can even sleep through the night!

I use it with Topomax, Welbutrin, Klonopin and Anbien. It has worked wonders!! Clears my head, helps level the moods, helps with irritation, and also helps with sleep.

It helped me fall asleep, but caused horrible restless leg syndrome. The sleepiness effect kicked in about 20 minutes after taking the drug, but If I didn't fall asleep before the restless leg syndrome started I had an hour or more of agonizing RLS.

I take Seroquel to regain normal sleeping patterns after years and years of wakefulness/racing thoughts/anxious uncontrollable thinking. I have been taking for 2 months now. It is a miracle drug for me! I take 50 to 200 mg., but usually take 100 and 150 if I had restlessness the night before, which is now rare. Thank God for sleep, a return to dreaming, and Seroquel.

My dose is adjusted frequently based on changes in mood and/or symptoms such as: not sleeping, A/V hallucinations, mind racing/inability to stop thinking. I am currently taking 200mg at bedtime but sometimes I require more.

It helped as far as an anti psychotic but it gave me leg twitches and knocked me out at night- since I have two young children I had to stop taking it in case they needed me in the middle of the night.

This med worked wonderfully for servere, rapid-cycle Bipolar. It worked for both depression and manic. One of the side effects of this drug is that is can severely raise cholesterol and triglyceride levels to dangerous levels. I wish I could have remained on Seroquel, it was the best I've felt for many years. Only now I have to take additional meds to reverse the effects so I don't die of a heart attack! But I do miss the "normal" feeling I had when taking it.

Seroquel helped to allow me to sleep easier and better manage my moods when taken with depakote and lithium.
