I have severe asthma and have been being treated with Adwair 100 then 250 then 500 mcg. First of all it is a breath activated medicine. If you have no breath how are you supposed to get this medicine in your airway? It has been TOTALLY useless to me and my doctor switched Me to Dulera Aerasol and I am doing MUCH better. I just cannot reccomend this med!

Developed asthma in my early 60's and it took the doctor plus a specialist six months to diagnose me with asthma. This is the only prescription that has managed my asthma in my entire life (I am 56 years old). My RX provider, Metco/Express Scripts just took this off the formulary. Big mistake. I started their replacement (Symbicort) 45 days ago and have been ill for around 45 days. I do not believe there is a good replacement. Insurance companies like Anthem should look at doing away with Medco if they a ... Show Full Comment

This medication caused deterioration in my teeth over the course of the 4 1/2 years I was taking it. I have had 19 cavities filled and after reading the advair reviews listing similar side effects on Web MD, I withdrew from the medication. In addition to the tooth decay, I was chronically exhausted, awakened with severe leg cramps, and had debilitating muscle pain. Since withdrawing from this ... Show Full Comment
