This nasal spray has been the most effective spray I have used. And I have used them all over the past thirty years. I mostly wanted to review this, because of people talking about the taste. You shouldn't be tasting anything!!! Read the instructions, you are using it wrong. Keep your head down, and sniff very gently. If you are tasting the medicine, then you are sniffing way too hard or pick...
This spray does a good job opening up the sinuses. However, the taste of it is so horrible that I would rather deal with allergy symptoms. The taste causes me to gag every time and lingers far too long. My doc assured me that unlike Astelin or Astepro, this drug was improved to the point of not having a bad taste. He couldn't have been more wrong. Again, I would rather live with the allergy s...

This is the third month I have used Dymista. I had sinus surgery in January 2020 but still had significant congestion and post nasal drip. Since using Dymista, with the additional support of extra antihistamines, my condition has slowly improved. I can breathe much more freely. For the first time in many years I my voice is not croaky.

I experienced "the taste" that some others have mentioned on here. But I went back to my doc and after I showed her how I was using it she (very kindly, god bless her) explained that I was inhaling way too strongly AND also wasn't bending over... as per the instructions she'd given me when she prescribed it... D'oh.
So, since sheepishly leaving her office that day and following her/the instructions, I haven't had any issues whatsoever.
Well... apart from the cost of course... but I think that goes without saying.Read More Read Less

I have returned to Dymista years after first tying it.
I do experience what I believe others have called brain fog. I feel like I have been mildly sedated about 20 min later and previously haven’t been able to work during the day if I had it in the morning.
These days, I typically take it of an evening occasionally when nothing else is working. It’s my last resort but gets the job done.
After administering it, I hold off as long as possible (1-2 min), until big sneezing kicks in before I blow my nose to rid what feels like little ants climbing around in there (the tingeling feeling is insane).
I become a blubbering mess for a moment, have a good sneeze, blow my nose and then, it’s like the storm had passed and everything starts to settle.
Yes, I do get the taste going down my throat, but in comparison to everything else and with the results in mind, that taste isn’t really what stands out.
The price does suck though! $50 but not heigh enough for my insurance to cover. Read More Read Less

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Gave me heavy brain fog, symptoms of anxiety and depression and ultimately dried my nose up so much there’s barely any mucus production. Do not keep using it, ultimately stop any nasal treatment as it’s such a sensitive part of your body.

Dymista caused me to have eczema, which was diagnosed as fungal. Now, years later, I finally got diagnosed with fragrance allergy and balsam of Peru allergy. Turns out this 'medicine' is fragranced! That is just insane. Why would one put fragrance in a nasal spray to be used against allergies?!

This nasal spray works to clear up my stuffy nose. My only complaint is the smell, as others have mentioned. I would rather have no smell. Also, it is quite expensive.

Although expensive, and not listed o the Australian Pharmaceutical Scheme, it has been so effective after years of other medications having little to no effect...worth every cent. Not sure why other reviews talk about taste or smell; all I experience is a welcoming sharp nostril buzz that stops instantly and starts getting to work!

This helped me to stop snoring, stopped the sore throat and bad breath, stopped inflammation of my face, made me feel more revitalised and minimised headaches and what felt like migraines. I seem to get dehydrated on this nasal spray so I need to up my water intake when using it

I was first prescribed this on a visit to Mexico by a Mexican doctor for night coughing which disturbed my sleep caused by allergic rhinitis. I was amazed at how effective it is. I now sleep well, using it only at bedtime.

For the price of this medication, flixanase works better. On antihistamine tablets as well as the Drymista, and it is still not working. By the afternoon my eyes and nose are running. If I had read the reviews with the percentages of working and not working I would not have purchased it.

This medication worked miracles for me for the first few months. Nasal passages became super clear and I could breathe through my nose when sleeping. Then when winter hit it all of its effects suddenly stopped. Now my nose is either constantly running with a very thick phelgm or is dry but still congested. Cannot sleep well at night again.
I encountered the horrible taste only on the first few tries. DO NOT breathe in heavily as you are using the medication because it will go down the back of your throat. Just spray and breathe in ever so slightly and you won't taste a thing.Read More Read Less

everytime i try this for post nasal drip with green snots, i start at same time of 10days augmentin or doxy for the infection. 3 times once at start, second on day 6 when sinuses felt full cleared up and another after anitbiotics. everytime it was the cause of coughing the same day and the post nasal to turn white! maybe thats normal? But this everytime caused an infection in my tonsils, full on sore bacterial tonsilitis with greenwhite exudate. and during or after antibiotic treatment which is very strange to me.
doctor was not able to explain so i dont know the cause but that white post nasal drip from this product was cause of throat irriation followed by tonsilitis during antibiotics use that had cleared the green nasal drip!
maybe it worked so well that it brought any infection out of sinuses downward!
the taste lasts all morning but every ENT i spoke to swears by it as a wonder cure for most patients with chronic rhinitis, and for these long suffering patients the taste is the only side effectRead More Read Less

The taste of this is absolutely absurd. I wish I had read reviews prior to having used this product. While it may be effective, I don’t know how I could handle the taste. After the second spray, I threw up and can not get the taste out of my mouth because of it running down the back of my throat. My nose is clear, although the possibility of losing the ability to taste and/or smell, coupled with the taste is a lot to consider. I would say to really weigh your options and compare other alternatives on the market prior to paying for this product, as it is pricey. Read More Read Less

After 3 sinus operations and continual infected sinuses my ENT doctor suggested Dymista. Have been using it at night for 6 months and havenâ??t had any sinus problems. Other than a slight distaste for a short time - no other bad symptoms. Huge relief. Better than antibiotics every couple of months.

Unfortunately, this did not work for me. The smell left over is offputting, the nose releases blood coloured snot and runs forever. I am suprised this product is still being sold without a caution.

This medication stinks... literally. The heavy lilac or lavender smell makes me gag. It has been 4 days using it and I have seen no marked improvement in my sinuses, as a matter of fact the left side had been bothering me and now both sides do. I would not recommend this.
