I am well aware of meds and do my research on them..but this time I chose to trust the Dr at the pain clinic, because she came with such high recommendations from a friend that has been on this POISON PILL for a while. She said she felt better after being treated with Gralise, Obviously this Dr has a one trick pony because she decided that Gralise was for me also!!! This is the worst medication I h...

I have been diagnosed with Sensory Neuropathic Cough, basically all the nerve ending in my throat are hyper sensitive. I was coughing 90% of the time with some extreme coughing spells that would last 5-7 minutes. I was taking Neurotin which improved my cough by about 50% but I was always tired, no motivation, and had weight gain that I hated! Once I started seeing a neurologist, she put me on Gralise. The cough has improved even more, the tiredness improved, and the weight is starting to come off. I am currently taking 2400mg per day and feel like I am starting to have control of my life again. I will have a cough for the rest of my life but am happy to say that this medicine has helped to control the cough. Now I rarely have extreme coughing spells and the cough has improved by 80%. She said she felt better after being treated with Gralise, Obviously this Dr has a one trick pony because she decided that Gralise was for me also!!! This is the worst medication I have ever been perscribed!! I felt horrible, like a zombie and still had pain!! Did some research and found that with cronic kidney disease I should never had been close to this pill!!! I researched myself on the web and YES she had made a mistake!! I'm now going thru withdrawels with horrific consequences!! I feel like I am haveing seizures because they took me off abrubtly not weaning me off!! I am SICK..Dizzy spells..passing out can't focus.. when I lay down or get up it is unbearable I feel like the whole room is spinning out of control!!!! NO BODY SHOULD TAKE THIS CRAP!!!! I heard it could last up to four months.. that takes away my driving and personal independence!!! GOD BE WITH ANY BODY ON THIS GARBAGE!!! CMRead More Read Less

Switched from Neurontin to Gralise and most of my pain (from a botched removal of lipoma to release a tethered spinal cord) has gone away!! I ran out of Gralise and had to go back on Neurontin for a few days until the pharmacy restocked and my pain was debilitating again. Gralise has been a huge relief. I use ibuprofen midafternoon at times to get me through, but this is completely mamanageable.

Taking at night for severe "idiopathic neuropathy", which started after spinal fusion. Has reduced the pain to mostly zero. When pain does crop up, I supplement with a big dose of Ibuprofen, and that does the trick.

I have "splay" foot, a problem with loose tendons in my feet resulting in loosening and shifting in my bones in my feet. This has resulted in nerve pain. The gralise does seem to have an effect in relieving the worst of the nerve pain. i also suffer from anxiety and depression and the gralise has mitigated my symptoms, even though I am already on an antidepressant.

After two back surgeries with long history (35 years). I have been taking 1800mg of Gralise for a year now. Works very well. I was not able to sleep at night or nap in the afternoon until I was put on Gralise. No after effects. I also take Tramadol 50mg 2 tablets twice a day for breakout pain. I don't know what I would do without this pain med.

This med did help me sleep at night and easedthe pain a little from the dics in my back pressing on the nerve going down my leg, but, it did trigger my migraine's and 2 times I had severe shaking, like a seizure, once in the middle of the night and once when I first went to sleep. No more gralise for me!

I have been taking regular Gabapentin for 12 years since the onset of Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis. It helped with the numbness and nerve pain for many years. I still had lots of pain, especially in the morning before my first dose. I was switched to Gralise and have not had the spikes of pain like before, and even better is that I don't have the terrible sleepiness!

acute pain from aircraft crash, this med produced swollen lips, mouth, tongue. Also, had mild confusion, combined with feeling "behind" when I moved, and it took a second for my body and orientation to catch up! Proprioception thrown off. A "buzz" of nerve pain actually became apparent throughout my back and axilla. worst was no effects AT ALL for 12 to 14 hours then Bam!, the above came in like an avalanche! Will go back and try the single regular dose capsules again...

Been taking it for neuropathy as my legs do jump or twitch. Started with 1800mg but reduced it to 600mg as I got too drowsy. It does help to calm down my legs though.

The medication stopped my siezures that were breaking through so that was a good thing. I had tremendous dizzy spells with it though for a very long time, I had a difficult time adjusting to the medication.
