Osmo Prep is suppose to be a kinder and gentler prep than sodium citrate and enemas. For me it was not. Four pills every 15 minutes times 5 was not easy. The following "emptying of the bowels" the night before was anything but gentle. Then to repeat it the morning of the procedure was horrible. I had headaches, light headiness, and ready to throw up the pills during the second round. Osmo Prep must be better for the drs., it was not gentler on the patient.

I weigh 125lbs, and I got away with taking only 16 out of the 32 pills. I think the pills were horrible and it was really tough to have to sit there ant take them every 15 minutes. It is great to be nauseous, starving, tired and weak, and have to chuck down pills every 15 minutes...JUNK!!

Unfortunately, I experienced almost all of the side effects associated with the use of the osmoprep pills. My concern is that,at 130 pounds, I had to take 32 pills.
