The product works very well. Use it as prescribed when you feel the heat or tingling stay to take it. Only thing I wish that it wasn't so costly. When you don't have insurance you have to pay out of pocket. So you may not be able to get you're medicine when you are having an outbreak. Overall the product is great, and I will recomend it to anyone with this condition.

Valtrex has saved my life. I was diagnosed with genital HSV1 three years ago. Initially, I was too embarrassed to fill my prescription when I had my first outbreak. Three years later, I experienced my second and worst outbreak so far. I started taking Valtrex a couple days into my outbreak and it has worked more than I thought. I noticed the results after one day. I strongly encourage its use. The ... Show Full Comment

use it daily when I am in a relationship. Have never noticed any side effects. I can go over a year without an outbreak, and I do what I can to prevent transmitting.
