Tooth Infection: did not work well. I had to stop taking it after development of a severe allergic rash. with itching, that covered my back, chest, trunk, buttocks, arms, and legs. Several days past stopping the medication and the rash was still just as bad and itchy.

I was giving this medicine for an infected ingrown toenail. I took 1 dose of 300mg caps and I have hives and itching all over!!

Dangerous Drug induces early menopause and damages spine and bones in general and for 10 mths felt like some inner organs in the middle of my back on bothside were on Fire ... I was screaming almost everynight like I was being murdered...must be some central nevere damage at 1200mg Tablet form per day for 10 days - that is allit took!!! Prescribed for wisdom teeth extraction - infection preventive. No problem taking it. Began the day before. I'm one week after surgery and all is well. No nausea,diarrhea, stomach issues. Pain and swelling subsiding. Seems to work as intended.

As a preventative measure against infection after a lower bicuspid tooth extraction, the oral surgeon put me on this medication. I've been taking the drug for four days, finish tomorrow. I have a history of gastro issues and my dad died of C. Diff. so I was nervous about taking the med, but I'm allergic to penicillin. I was eating a lot of probiotic yogurt prior to taking the med.
