This medication works well with minimal side effects. It mutes the pain levels down to a point where you can concentrate on daily activities without feeling "drugged".... There are two very important points to this medication that cannot be ignored without side effects. Overdosage: From all the blogs I've found, overdosage often results in sleeplessness. Headaches and stomach cramps are a...

I only gave one star, because iv never taken this medication. ( yet) Celebrex 200 mg for a year, I can get out of bed and be somewhat normal, but have not walk more then 50 yards without pain. ( L4-L5-S1-Hip problems) nine injectings over the three years all NSADS, PT twice. Can this be taken with Celebrex? Has anyone taken both together?

I'm a dialysis patient, and i have severe migraines all the time. So i was put on this medication. It helps a lot, but not completely. I can't take more than two pills a day because of my kidney illness. I have already been on three other migraine medication, but this one is more affective than the others. Seeing i can't take much at all that's why i don't have a lot of relief from my migraines.

I only relieves 50% of my pain. It lasts only an hour. I take 2 5o mg. in the a.m. 2 more 4 hours later. Doctor says that he cannot give me anything else because he does not want to "fry my brain" I am at the point now that may be better than be in pain all the time. On a pain scale I am a 10 every day. no let up.

I have multitudes of pain:RA,Syringomyelia, Fibromyalgia,GERD,Crohns, head injury and other things. This medicine helps take a small edge off so I can tolerate life easier There have been other medicines that worked better, but are hard to get. I have to always "beg" for pain medicine, a bottle of 100 usually lasts me 8-10 months. I can't stretch them out any longer than that! I still suffer terribly daily. My quality of life is not good. 28 surgeries later and I'm still here though.

I have used ultram for several years. I have found to get full effectiveness of the drug is to take with 8 oz. of water. This pain medication for me will last for 12 hours. It may take a little longer to get the full effectiveness of relief but for me it really works good. Remember it is a full glass of water.

Tramadol was prescribed to me for arthritic pain in elbows and knees that can wak me out of a dead sleep. As far as concious pain relief, it does little for me. It does however let me sleep through the night. Prescribed to me at 50mg per dose.

I can only take this medicine at night because it makes me really sleepy and dizzy. It really works for my pain though.

I was just prescribed this two days ago. Took my first one last night. When I woke up this morning my vision is seriously blurred. I was told I can keep taking it, that this is not uncommon. I work in front of a computer all day so that is unacceptable. I will not be taking this medication again. Not to mention it didn't help my pain at all.

Ultram has alleviated my pain for 3 years now. However, I question how much of my pain is real at this point and how much is rebound pain because I am struggling to get off this med. I take the full dose -- 100 mgs. four times daily and know it is addictive. I am struggling within 3 hours after dosing and need more. I find now that I am exhausted right before I take each dose and once I take it there is a surge of energy for a brief while. This is prevalent in addiction.

I use it to quiet my back and joint pain from osteoarthritis. I use it with arthritis strength Tylenol which assists in the pain killing process but far from helpful when it comes to severe pain.

I use Ultram for FM pain, when I feel like I want to jump out of my skin or I get this certain feeling in my arms - a funny sensation-don't know how to explain this feeling. I just know that Ultram will help me. But this is the only reason I use Ultram (actually I used the generic version-I don't see the difference-except in price). I don't use this for acute pain AT ALL.

Took one pill after a light meal. Knock me out for a few hours and then I was wired and could not sleep. In the morning when I got up I was very dizzy, sweating and sick to my stomach. Vomited a few times and then slept almost 20 hours. This is 2 days later, still sick to my stomach and dizzy. Not worth it to me.

I have a disc disease and osteoarthritis. I was taking Naproxen for years and it wasn't helping. The doctors proscribed me Ultram and Lodine. At first, I had problems with the Ultram - dizziness, sick to my stomach. I found that taking the Lodine at the same time as the Ultram alievated those problems and together they took my pain away. There are days when the pain gets so bad that I don't feel like moving, but since I have started taking these two medications, I feel much better. I have been taking these two medications for almost 3 years. Read More Read Less
